Help Peyton Recover With Peace of Mind
Imagine driving along having some innocent chat with your best friend, when out of no where the unexpected happens and your life is changed forever. It happens everyday around the world and on the evening of March 28th it happened to Peyton Crump and his best friend, Payton. These two incredible young men were hit while driving through Petoskey, MI by a drunk driver. Peyton (Crump) received extensive injuries, requiring immediate surgery, to his femur, arm and pelvis as well as several lacerations to his face. He is currently being cared for at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital, in Grand Rapids, MI. He has recently received surgery to fix his arm and femur and the outcome is positive. A third procedure to fix is pelvis was done and that outcome also has been successful. Though, this marks just the beginning of a totally different pathway in life, Peyton was not expecting. The doctors have explained a long road of recovery and that Peyton, will never be the same after this accident. Luckily his friend Payton is recovering from his injuries successfully and doing great!
This GoFundMe, has been created to assist, his parents, who reside in Tennessee, a cushion to continue traveling back and forth, as currently they are in Grand Rapids, by his side but are expected to be missing out on a lot of work to ensure the proper care and rehabilitation for their son. This will cause unnecessary stress on the family to maintain payments on their residence both mortgage and bills. If we could reach our goal, it will help relieve that concern for both parents and Peyton in hopes of a better more smooth recovery process. We are also hoping that when this ordeal is put behind them and rehabilitation starts that the (drunk) driver who hit these young men can be held accountable accordingly and justice for them is served. So attorney fees will also be a need covered for this family to ensure this can be done.
We all understand, that life right now is difficult for everyone financially. But if there is anything you can donate, this family will forever be grateful and appreciative of anything given.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you cannot donate, we understand, we just ask you share this across Facebook and pray. Thank you, thank you, thank you & God Bless!
