Hello everyone. We are asking for help caring for our 8-week-old pembroke welsh corgi puppy, Grizz Lee. He began vomiting around 5 PM on 3/29/21 and continued to vomit for the next few hours. He wouldn’t take any food or water, and eventually he became more lethargic. After advice from a vet to take him if he continued to worsen and to refuse to drink/eat, he had to be rushed to the emergency clinic later that night at 9 PM and was diagnosed/hospitalized with Parvo at around 10 PM-11 PM. The clinic is assuming it came from the breeder or in transit to us since he’s been staying safely indoors with us at home since we got him on 3/26/21. Unfortunately, our pet insurance effective date wasn’t until 3/30/21 so they’re refusing to help with the cost from last night/this morning and moving forward as they’re calling this a pre-existing condition now. Additionally, the breeder is claiming that it was not from them and that they bear no responsibility.

We understand the hard times that everyone is facing right now, but we’d appreciate any and all help as we just want our boy home safe and sound and these bills are piling up the longer he stays hospitalized.
