Jessica became a mother to the most beautiful baby Moira in June. Starting in November Jessica fell ill with the diagnosis of pneumonia. After a month of pneumonia treatment she was not better. Subsequently a trip to the ER and admission to the hospital it was found that she had developed Post-partum cardiomyopathy with right sided heart failure. The chambers of her heart are overworked and not pumping blood out. She has spent the last 3 months in and out of treatment and hospitals. She is back in the hospital in Critical care after having blood clots to both lungs worsening her heart failure and sending her into cardiogenic shock. She is currently in critical care as doctors try to stabilize the cardiogenic shock and heart failure. She has been off work and does not have any time off payments. Cody has been working hard between working and time off to be with Jessica and Moira. Medical bills and regular life payments will be becoming a struggle as she is able to start to leave and come home. She will be off work for an extended period of time and will need all the help that her, Cody, and Moira can get. It is hard for Jessica to ask for help and is always wanting to be the one to help others. I told her it is our time to help them.
