Heaven gained another angel Sunday, June 26th when Kirsten lost her battle with Leukemia. Beautiful, soft spoken, positive, loving, and giving...just a few words that come to mind when I think of Kirsten. Unfortunately, she not only leaves her husband Matt behind, but also her son Seth (9) and daughter Hailey (2 1/2). Those that knew and loved Kirsten are devastated.
This gofundme account has been set up in an effort to lessen some of the financial burden Kirsten's treatments have undoubtably left on her family, not to mention the increased pressure being a single parent will bring.
The goal has been set at $1996, the year that Kirsten pledged and joined Kappa Delta Sorority, which is how so many I speak for first knew her. We hope to raise a lot more than that for her family, but felt it was a meaningful place to start!
