Dear friends and family,
The Mrs. United States pageant (mrsunitedstates.com) celebrates the accomplishments of married women and the spirit of volunteerism throughout the nation. Many of you know that my wife Andrea has been an advocate against dating violence and gender-based violence for over 18 years along with issues including social justice, hunger, and poverty. That's why I married her, for her heart, inner-beauty, and compassion (and of course those luscious red lips and long legs). After a lot of hard work and thousands of hours of community service, on February 20 of this year she was crowned Mrs. Minnesota United States 2016.
Now Mrs. & Mr. Minnesota United States, aka Team Bennett Xiong are going to compete for the national title of Mrs. United States at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on August 1-4, 2016. We are excited to be representing our great state and will do our best to make MN proud and bring home the national title.
Our campaign for Mrs. & Mr. United States has always been about giving back to the community through volunteer service and advocacy. This last year we attended and supported over 80 events including Feed my Starving Children, River of Hope Gala for domestice violence, Southern Valley Battered Women Center, HnubTshiab Banquet, Twin Cities Refugee Day, and the holiday Toys for Tots as Mr. & Mrs. Clause. We also participated in and hosted out-of-state events such as the Save our Children Peace March in Wausau, WI and the anti-bullying event in Oshkosh, WI.
Therefore we are raising funds to cover travel and pageant expenses forTeam Bennett Xiong at the national 2016 Mrs. United States pageant. We humbly ask for your support. We accept donations of any amount and in any form (jars of pennies, cash, a kind wish, etc.).
We are able to continue to serve and give back because of you. We are forever grateful and thank you in advance for your generosity, love, and support.
