Help Rebuild Dolce Dolce Bakery!

La famiglia. In Italy, particularly in Sicily, family is at the heart of life, and that includes the small business, where what you do for a living is your profession, not just a job. Crocetta and Frank Angelo, both from Sicily, extended their family to include the town of Medway when they opened Dolce Dolce Bakery, Italian Traditional Goods in the location of the former Gaetano’s Bakery at 74 Main Street.

 Then, the unimaginable happened: mere weeks after opening their doors, a pipe to the sprinkler system burst, inundating the new shop with 6” of water. Ceilings, walls, floors, plumbing, electrical systems, expensive equipment, furniture, inventory, and supplies were destroyed in minutes. Forced to close for extensive repairs and remodeling, the Angelo family will lose unquantifiable revenue from sales, and insurance will only cover a portion of their losses and expenses. 



 The Angelo family’s creation of Dolce Dolce Bakery is a perfect example of making the "American Dream" a reality. Medway is a community of helpers; please join us to help the Angelo family revive their dream so it is once again a sweet one.
