The Douglas Family

This is sweet Lily Grace Douglas who is the only girl of four children. I have had the honor to know her and her amazing family. She was diagnosed with infantile Scoliosis at the early age of 8 months old. She is now 9 years old. Through a recent growth spurt things have become derasticaly more serious and the curvature has become extreme. After pursuing every option possible and many, many attempts at a more natural solution it has come to the point of major surgery after countless hours of prayer. This is the option the Lord has given them peace over. That being said they have recently relocated from springfield, Missouri to Colorado springs, Colorado but the specialist that has chosen to take her unique case is in ST. Loius, Missouri 15 hours away. As you can expect this is going to involve countless trips back and forth not to mention time away from work, housing as they stay for surgery and recovery time. You can imagine that the list goes on and on in the way of finances. This family is one of the sweetest I have ever come across and have faith in the Lord in such a tremendous way that they have impacted my own walk with the Lord. They have always believed and had faith in the Lord providing a miracle for their Lily and maybe this can be just that. Please be in prayer for them in this extremely painful and long journey. Asking for anyone who can give anything to help as the Lord sets it on your heart. It is beyond appreciated in the deepest way. I wanted to do this for them as I have seen them give so much to others. When others might wallow and loose faith in such circumstances they have stared it in the face and trusted God the whole way through. Let us wrap our arms around our fellow brother's and sister's in their time of need. We are the hands and feet of Christ Jesus. Thank you so much for taking the time to read their story. God bless.
