In the early morning of Sunday, June 26, 2016, Tammy Jo Manning was in an atv accident resulting in trauma to her brain. She was life flighted to St. Mary's hospital of Duluth. Her family was faced with a difficult decision to either hope for a natural recovery or opt for surgery. Surgery included  the removal of a portion of her skull to alleviate the pressure from her brain swelling. With little to no hope of a natural recovery the family opted for surgery. Tammy's chances of survival through the surgery were slim, but being the fighter she is, she came out of the surgery. The surgeon himself changed his original thoughts on her outcome and emphasized that surgery was the correct choice.  However, Tammy is far from out of the woods. She is currently heavily sedated and we don't yet know the extent of her injuries. She has a long road ahead of her and needs your prayers.

Tammy is a loving and devoted mother to two young boys, ages 7 and 5. She has an outpouring of love from her friends, and especially her family, most of which are from the Grand Rapids area. They are making the commute back and forth to the hospital and home daily, which is 3-4 hours round trip. Those that are staying by her side 24/7, are renting hotel rooms and eating gas station and hospital food.These costs will continue to add up as we don't know how long Tammy will be staying in the Neuro ICU unit.

We are asking for a donation of any size to help support Tammy Jo and her family. Hopefully this will prevent any additional worries to the family as they continue to provide the support Tammy Jo needs during this crucial time.
