My dear brother and sister-in-law are facing what no parents ever should. Their son Blaine suffered a horrible accident that caused oxygen deprivation resulting in brain death. While every effort and hope was exhausted, ultimately there was nothing more that could be done to help and he was taken off life support today. Blaine was an special boy that also had autism, but more than that he had amazing parents that only wanted the best for him. Tabitha has been his greatest advocate and even as she walks through unfathomable grief, she looks to find any positive in this situation and has chosen to make the gift of life possible by organ donation.
To add to this enormous tragedy, my sister-in-law Tabitha is also facing the 10th anniversary of the death of her beloved daughter and Blaine's twin sister, Tristin. In spite of this devastation Tabitha has become an advocate and source of inspiration for those dealing with grief as well as raising awareness for Tristin's genetic condition, Niemann-Pick Type C.
By donating we are hoping to help my brother and sister-in-law recover from this very unexpected loss and the financial strain they were unprepared for.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and if you are unable to contribute financially, prayers and thoughts of support are also needed and appreciated.
Thank you,
Connie
