Helping Justace Fight Cancer

Please support our family as we help Justace fight cancer.
My daughter Justace is 10 years old and currently is in the fifth grade. She is the most resilient little girl and is dear to many people’s hearts. Justace appreciates her family greatly and also adores her little sister Jordin. She has an academic passion and is making great strides in her educational goals. Every year she makes the honor roll and loves to sing and dance at her church. She loves her family and friends, and is always willing to give a helping hand.
We regretfully inform you that our lives were devastated on March 11, 2016 when Justace required expert care at Duke University Medical Center, confirming a diagnosis of a mass in her abdomen. The next day doctors discovered this mass was a tumor and that they would have to perform surgery to remove it. On March 14, 2016, Justace underwent hours of surgery in hopes to remove this tumor. During surgery doctors discovered the tumor had progressed to a stage 4 level cancer. Most of the tumor was removed during surgery, however; additional surgeries are required along with chemotherapy to guarantee our daughter the highest likelihood of remission.
I am a full-time student at Fayetteville State University studying Social Work and currently unemployed while I take care of Justace. I’m willing to do whatever is necessary to be by my daughter’s side during this difficult process.
The goal for this gofundme is to ask for assistance in covering expenses that pertains to the well-being of Justace. Justace’s chemotherapy treatments are 5 days consecutively each week until her blood counts build up. We extend this invitation to you during this period because we need your help.
We are deeply grateful for any financial help that you can offer. We also ask for you to keep Justace and the Joyner Family in your prayers for our faith and trust in God is our greatest hope. Our mailing address includes 1187 N Roberts Apt. T4 Lumberton NC 28358.
“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me “Mark 9: 37”
Thank you for your consideration and kindness towards us.
Humbly,
Candace Joyner and The Justace Team
