Help Atticus get better.

Atticus is a senior kitty me and my girlfriend adopted this summer. Atticus was found outside as a feral cat, with glaucoma, deaf and FIV+. he went into foster care for a while and there his foster was that’ll able to tame him, then he went back to the shelter and received dental care for his teeth. He also struggle horribly with GI issues while he was there, when we adopted him he hated other cats, he still does but he’s blind and scared and wouldn’t be able to defend himself if something were to happen. we still love him so much and make things work around here, Atticus is the type of cat who will come up to you and just cuddle with you for hours, he shows his love by excessively licking you and screaming in your face. after a few months i realized he has dementia and his eating began to slow down when he was usually ravenous to eat. i took him to the vet as soon as i could get in, they took X-rays, did a full blood panel and also prescribed medication for his dementia, which is helping, his x-rays showed he had lots of fecal matter in him and that’s about it, his blood work showed he had stage 2 kidney disease, for that he’s on supplements, prescription food, and lots of subQ fluids. I became very concerned by the way his breath smelled and quickly realized his remaining few teeth were rotting . His dental is scheduled for Feb 27th. it’s been a hard few months for us, anything is appreciated.This will go towards his Dental and his Ultrasound we’d like to do the ultrasound ASAP, thank you for reading atticus's story we hope you love him !
