My name is Zaman and I am a YEMENI AMERICAN currently residing in Brooklyn NY. The crisis in Yemen has brought forth many emotions in me. I am deeply saddened for my Yemeni people that are suffering and dying daily from illnesses and famine caused by war and greatly upset at the fact that this matter is being ignored by the world. YEMEN is now known as the FORGOTTEN COUNTRY! I have partnered up with MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières ) to raise money for the hospitals/clinics that are operating in Yemen under the MSF ORGANIZATION a 501(c)3 organization
also known as Doctors Without Borders. MSF is an international medical humanitarian non profit organization stationed in countries where healthcare is neglected due to catastrophic events. All aid performed by MSF is at no charge to the patient. The current war in Yemen has caused many problems all over Yemen to arise. I am here asking ALL OF YOU PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS, PLEASE DONATE(even $1) AND PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AS WELL AS SHARE THIS LINK ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER SO OTHERS CAN DONATE AND WE CAN GET THIS CAMPIGN TRENDING!! YEMEN has became the poorest country in the world and currently has the WORST HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN THE WORLD IN WORLD HISTORY!! Over 20 MILLION PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING FROM STARVATION and the aid blockade from SAUDIA ARABIA has made matters WORSE! The YEMENI PEOPLE have NO access to food causing deaths due to starvation to arise daily as well as no access to clean water hence bringing forth the spreading of the WORST CHOLERA EPIDEMIC IN WORLD HISTORY!! HAITI had about a total 800,000 cholera cases since 2010 (that’s the total in 7 years) YEMEN has surpassed that amount in 6MONTHS leaving the total of ABOUT 1 MILLION IN YEMEN SUFFERING FROM CHOLERA, a majority of them being children UNDER the age of 5 !! EVERY 10 minutes a child under the age of 5 dies!! 50,000 more children are predicted to die by the end of 2017!! This has been noted as the worst humanitarian crisis in WORLD HISTORY yet nothing is being done about this! Sadly innocent lives are paying for our SILENCE! ALL DONATIONS WILL BE DELIVERED PERSONALLY BY ME TO MSF ORGANIZATION HEADQUARTERS IN NYC (located at 333 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10001)
IN A FORM OF A CHECK (I will upload the check made out to MSF once the donating amount is reached and withdrawn) MSF THEN WILL HAND IT OVER TO THE MSF FACILTIES STATIONED IN YEMEN to help them obtain more resources that is needed to continue treating patients. MSF will be writing out a receipt made out to me as proof of recieving the funds (I will upload a pic to photos once that is done as well). MSF will be distributing aid to the hospitals/clinics in Yemen in which they operate in that are in dire need of supplies.
