My family and I were greatly affected by the recent flooding. As you can see, our house was destroyed. I'm not sure how or when, but we will recover. We are all safe and our pets are safe. We currently have them boarded at a kennel until we can get our lives back on track. We are staying with family until we can figure out a long term plan to rebuild or relocate.

I was hesitant to create this page because I didn't want to ask for help. I know other people are suffering just like we are. But, I've had so many people reach out to me and offer cleanup assistance, supplies, etc that reality finally set in and I realized that this is going to be a long, tiring and expensive process. It was suggested to me by a few people that I create this for the expenses that I haven't even anticipated yet. 

I am self-employed and my office was in my home. So, not only have we lost our home and possessions, we have also lost our only source of income.  Recovering is going to be extremely difficult, but even surviving until that point is going to be hard.

I have been truly thankful for every person that has texted, emailed, called, stopped by and reached out in any way possible. Every effort helps to raise our spirits and keep us moving forward. If you can help out, then I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can only send words of encouragement, then that is greatly appreciated as well.
If you can, just take a few seconds to share this wherever you can. The more people that see the destruction we are facing, the better chance we have of fighting through this, surviving,  and regaining a sense of normalcy in our lives.
