Help for Jennifer

Hello. My name is Laurie Neely. I'm writing this on behalf of my dearest friend, Jennifer Fantone Smith. I first met Jenn 33 years ago. She has always been one of the most special, and important people in my life. Our friendship is every bit as strong today, as it was back then, in fact, even more so. I'm not sure if she even realizes, the profound impact she has had on my life, and how truly blessed I am to have her in it. 5 years ago, Jenn was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. During this extremely difficult and trying time, having undergone years of chemotherapy, and multiple surgeries, she remained incredibly strong throughout, driven, and never wavering in her faith. Though she was going through such an ordeal, she would continually seek out others, who were experiencing physical, and or financial hardships, and would give of herself completely, to do anything she could to help and improve the quality of life, and circumstances of those with whom she would come in contact. She is the sheer definition of inspiration.

Unfortunately, Jenn's treatment options are now coming to an end. The cancer is becoming aggressive, and unresponsive. At this time, she is receiving hospice care. Jenn would like to spend as much time as possible with her loved one's. Her husband Brian, who is self-employed, is faced with wanting to spend every waking moment with not only the love of his life, but his very best friend, meanwhile, financially he is in a position where he is also needed at work, to provide for he and Jenn, and meet all of the monthly needs, that don't stop even when someone in the home becomes seriously ill. That is why I am writing this letter. Brian has financial responsibilities at home, but Brian is very much needed, and no doubt wants to be there for his wife, to offer love, support, encouragement, and comfort when needed. I am asking every person that reads this letter, to please help this wonderful woman, and remarkable family. Thank you all so very much for your time, and prayers.
