Miracle for Merv as he fights for his life

This fund is for my stepdad, Merv Tremblay who is currently in a fight for his life due to complications after contracting COVID-19. Merv is a caring, loving and understanding man who helped us in our time of need. He means so much to my mother Cindy and I, we ask humbly now for your help.

Here is what happened:

On February 21st Merv tested positive for COVID-19 and became progressively worse until he began experiencing trouble breathing and entered bouts of delirium.

February 28th Taken to hospital Via ambulance, with his pre-existing conditions (COPD and Emphysema) Merv would have a hard fight ahead of him. With IV fluids to help him stay hydrated and his Oxygen dropping well below acceptable levels Merv was put on a ventilator and things looked dire.

March 4th Merv began to improve, we were told by the medical staff that “time will tell”.

March 6th, Merv became well enough to begin Lung exercises and a few days later began rehabilitation and working towards going home.

March 9th, His first real food in days and the removal of the ventilator for those short moments brought Merv a little closer to going home and seeing his Love again.

March 13th, pneumonia attacks.

March 17th, Merv’s pneumonia is winning, things become dire quickly and invasive intubation is needed.

Merv is a Kind and understanding person, talented musician, and loving partner. He was extremely cautious with his day-to-day business as a self-employed Upholsterer working out of his small shop at his home in which he worked very hard and supported himself and my mom.

Merv now needs our help, being hospitalized and the complications caused by this horrible and devastating virus has put his Life, work, and home in severe jeopardy.

The Funds raised here will go directly to support his Love (Cindy) and the costs that Merv has not been able attend to while he is unable to work and heaven forbid, to cover the expenses that will come if Merv were not to recover.

This fund will GREATLY ease the stress and anxiety on my mom and myself, help Merv keep his business alive, support his Cindy and prepare for his return, while Merv fights for his Life.
