Help Brad survive to stay alive

I've been diagnosed with liver cancer and am in the process of going through treatment to shrink a tumor so that I can get on the transplant list.

I'm not in the habit of begging money, however, I can no longer continue to do the odd jobs that I've been doing to make ends meet. I had no problems rolling up my sleeves and working to do that for the last year plus, but I no longer have the energy to do so.

My bills get paid by my fixed income but increased costs of gas (medical appointments are two hours each way) and other needs, I am looking to get the money that I figure I need to tide me over for the next 6 months, so I can focus on the long involved process of the arrangements for a transplant.

Worrying about money is a worse stress than the actual medical process and that is stressful enough, believe me. It's overwhelming to say the least.

I've had a pretty good life run and I'm not so concerned with dying. It's spending the remainder of my life working odd jobs, just to make it, and then popping off, that sticks in my craw. So any and all help to avoid that will be greatly appreciated.

I realize that any actual cash out of pocket is a sacrifice to all of my friends and family, as most of you are living the same as me, day to day, check to check. So if you donate, know how special that is. It's easy to give if you have, not so easy to give when it hurts.
