Hello everyone. It is with a heavy heart that I announce my mom, Deborah Kay Conto, passed away yesterday, March 16th at 12:20 in the afternoon at the age of 61. 

I held her hand until her very last breath. 

I don’t know how this is my reality...not even 5 months after loosing my grandma and still grieving that loss, I now have to move through life without my sweet, wonderful mama. 

It was very sudden. She had liver failure, and soon after being admitted to the hospital for abdomen pain and discovering her liver was in failure, her other organs began to fail rapidly. Soon she was being fully supported- liver, kidneys, blood pressure, and lungs. She had to be put on a ventilator and sedated. 

It seemed like there was some hope last week, numbers started trending in a better direction, but over the weekend things got immensely worse and she could not wake up after being taken off sedation...she just couldn’t fight any longer. 

I am in complete shock. I don’t know how to do this. But I know I need help. 

I need help with all the expected and unexpected costs of loosing someone you love. Funeral/celebration of life. Medical bills.  I would like to try to pay off her car if possible and be able to give it to her partner Vince and help him with bills until he can get on his feet, help with some of my bills as I navigate this grief and having to travel back and forth between Arizona and California...and so many other things that I’m sure I haven’t even thought of. 

I didn’t know what number was appropriate to put for this fundraiser, I may be overshooting or under shooting, but anything you can give to support our family during this time...I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.
