Help Lucas stay at Biola University

Dear friends and family,

In the midst of challenging times, our family is facing financial difficulties. Lucas, who is on the brink of his senior year at Biola University, is unable to secure a loan due to his father's ongoing battle with cancer. As a result, we are grappling with mounting medical bills and other expenses. Unfortunately, this has caused Lucas to be ineligible for a loan to continue his education, as his father is his co-signer.

We just learned about this situation yesterday, and time is of the essence. Lucas needs to cover his school expenses, amounting to $9,000 for the Fall Semester, by August 15th. We are also accepting any extra donations for his last semester in Spring 2024. Although our initial plan was to organize fundraisers and even sell my car, a vital work tool, to raise funds for the next semester, the urgency of the situation necessitates seeking support from our community at this time.

Lucas is a Cinema and Media Arts student and is also already lined up for two on-campus jobs that start next week. He is poised to contribute to Biola's Student Government and participate in a Chapel Band. His character is marked by kindness, responsibility, love, and passion. Everywhere he goes, his warmth is palpable, and his devotion to God shines through beautifully.

Our family is disheartened that we're unable to provide for Lucas during this crucial time, potentially jeopardizing his educational pursuits.
