I'm reaching out on behalf of someone whom I love and care about very much.
Jack Smith who has been a long standing part of our dance community for so many years needs our help to keep The Clubhouse Dance Studio open. So many of us have danced and grown up in that studio through the years and it's many versions. Many junior dancers started their Jack and Jill experiences at The Clubhouse in a friendly place comfortable for all ages. It's been a part of our WCS history and I know how hard Jack has been working to keep things running on his own.
We all fall on difficult times and this is one of those times for Jack. Right now there are several plans to implement new dance programs, classes and evening dances which will help in the coming months to rebuild and revamp the studio but in order to make those things happen, he needs to raise money to keep the doors open. He has been the closest thing I've had to a dad and supporter in the community over the years and I know he's been there for many of you. There is nothing he wouldn't do for any of us including giving the last penny in his pocket.
He's been working tirelessly to make ends meet and true to Jack form, not asking for help. I understand this all too well so I'm asking that we pull together as a community to do what we can to give back!
Love you, Jack (please don't kill me for this!!)
