For the last four years, Greg has been fighting esophageal cancer. Being diagnosis stage four was a huge blow to Greg and his family. The first doctor he saw gave him three months to live. Greg was not willing to accept that kind of time limit on his life. He fought and fought hard taking radiation and chemo for a solid year. All the while continuing to work in between his treatments. All his hard work gave him a whole year free from treatment. But as anyone who has dealt with cancer knows, it started growing again and there were more treatments and then it spread to his brain and then there was surgery and radiation. This type of diagnosis is an ongoing regime of scans and treatments giving him some good times in between. Greg has continued to work almost continuously through all this determined to not let the cancer beat him. The most recent developments were some seizures and a bout with pneumonia. With a lot of discussion with his family, Greg has decided it may be time to not work his full time job anymore. This leaves him with a huge pile of medical bills and insurance to buy. All of this leaving an overwhelming amount of money that he doesn't have. Greg is a prideful man and it really bothers him to do this, but with wolves at the door and medical treatments continuing, there aren't a lot of options. Greg and his family are reaching out and asking for the support of his friends and the community to help him get through these rough times. If you can't give financially your prayers and support are also welcome. I am a firm believer that the Lord and everyone's prayers are what has turned the original three months into the four precious years he has had so far. And Lord willing he will have many more. God Bless you all. Greg, Shelly and his entire family.
