Danny Guthrie Medical Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
A member of our Round Rock Dragon family needs your help. On May 31st, Danny Guthrie was air lifted to the ER at Round Rock Seton Hospital. He had suffered a major heart attack. The initial prognosis was grim, but as we all know, Danny Guthrie is a fighter. Danny has survived two rounds of surgery, including a double bypass procedure in mid June, as well as a stent and tricuspid valve repair. He has also suffered from renal failure and internal bleeding. Danny was recently readmitted to the hospital because of concerns about the amount of fluid collecting around his heart.
As many of you know, Danny is self-employed. During this past six weeks, he has been rendered completely incapacitated and unable to operate his business. The medical bills that Danny faces already are staggering and he faces extensive treatment for months to come. Consequently, I am asking every one of Danny's friends for help. Danny is a proud, stubborn man (and that is much of what has helped him survive this ordeal), but I have finally convinced him to let his family and friends lend him a hand.
I humbly ask for your support with the many medical expenses that Danny will be faced with during the upcoming months. The Round Rock community has always been incredibly generous and supportive. At this time, one of own truly needs our help. I asking you to give anything you can to help Danny and his family through this incredibly difficult ordeal.
The road to recovery will be long and hard for Danny, and I ask if you are unable to donate at this time, that you simply keep him and the entire Guthrie family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your love and support!
Tiger Hanner
