Hi everyone, it seems like life can truly be crazy and sometimes it’s just one thing after another. This morning the Prima Bar and Motel in Phoenixville caught on fire. Not only was this spot beloved amongst the community, and the heart of many friendships and good times. This place also served as a home to many families and seniors. Some of my family being one of the occupants.
My family had to run out of flames and smoke with their faces covered leaving everything behind. Three middle and elementary aged children and their mother…. With nothing. We are grateful they were woken by neighbors
After the fire, which at this time is still not put out, the department suspects everything is gone. This is leaving so many people with nothing. People have lost their pets, all or most of their belongings, and everything else that someone considers valuable in their home. People employed by the Prima will also be affected by this loss. My cousins unfortunately fall into every single one of those categories.
It’s a heavy hit for the community. I know times are tough for everyone right now. The loss of the Prima is devastating. After a rough year last year, any help is much appreciated. All proceeds will be given to the Pierson tenants for their rehoming costs associated with this loss. Thank you.
