Chayil Men Need a New Home

The Chayil home is a ministry of Calvary Christian Center in Cathedral City. It takes broken men from all walks of life and offers a safe place to become rehabilitated, learn how to become men of valor and eventually transition back into the world as productive members of society.
The Chayil men's home originated 7 years ago and that 7 years approximately 160 men have went through the program. An astounding 80% of the men that have completed the program are living productive lives. Men that had little to no care for themselves or others are now leaders, present fathers in their children's lives, family men and hard workers. This program not only gave them their life back, but restored families as a whole and changed generations moving forward.
There is no type of man that comes through this program they are all from different walks, ages, race and backgrounds. They have come straight from prison, off the streets and out of a first stage recovery programs (detox facilities). Chayil home receives referrals from local agencies; probation, parole and Child protective services as well as social services. Many men have been court mandated to Chayil as an alternative to serving their sentence in prison. The one similarity these men have, upon completion of the program they have brothers, families, hope, love, boundaries, morals and a future.
These men and future men are in danger of losing this house. They need a miracle to save this program, you can be that miracle. All donations will go straight to getting them in a new home they can call their own. This program is making the streets in our valley safer and you can be a part of keeping that. Everything helps and your support matters. We have to move fast and work together we only have until the end of the THIS month.
