Hello All!
My name is Jessica Garrard. My husband and I own Sharkies Swim and Scuba Academy in Smyrna, Ga.
Two days ago, one of our swim coaches left work due to an illness. On her way home she received a phone call from her childrens fathers stating he was "on his way to kill her." Once she got home to her Grandma and her 2 infant children, havoc ensued. Jessica and her Grandma were beaten, stabbed and tased for over 20 minutes until the cops arrived. Both babies were also tased. One child came within an inch of getting stabbed until Jessica threw her arm in defense to save her child.
Jessica's teeth have been knocked out, she has a broke jaw and two stab wounds. Jessica's grandmother has every bone in her face shattered. She will never look the same again, and could quite possibly lose her vision. Jessica and her babies will be staying with Rhett and I until how ever long it takes. On top of this, Jessica's apartment burnt to the ground two months ago, hence the reason she was living with her grandmother at the time. She lost everything. Jessica is 19 years old. She was a straight A student and on the swim team at Campbell High School. Her life is forever changed. Any contribution will help to feed, clothe her and her babies as well as money needed towards medical bills and dental work.
I am never one to ask for help, but we need help now to get this girl and her sweet babies back on their feet.
