My daughter Brandie just got that news that none of us want to hear.
Her just diagnosed ovarian cancer is still in stage 1, so it's very survivable. Her doctor is giving her 90% odds of winning this fight.
Of course I'm biased, but this woman is one of the best moms I've ever seen and an incredible woman. She works for the federal government, and has good insurance, but after taking time off for her daughter's surgeries to correct a congenital problem, Brandie is out of paid leave.
She and her husband Dustin work hard to provide for their little family, but without Brandie's income, they're in a tough spot. Anything that my friends and family might be able to give will help immensely and will be greatly appreciated.
