Hi everyone,

This is Sara and Filip, close friends of Martina, a migrant trans woman from Chile who has been sober and in recovery from drugs and alcohol for 9 months. Martina is an incredibly strong and inspiring person, but right now she’s facing serious challenges that threaten her stability and recovery.

Martina struggles with her mental health and urgently needs access to therapy and psychiatric care, but her large health insurance debt is blocking her from receiving the treatment she needs. She’s also struggling with irregular income, making it hard for her to pay rent and cover basic living costs.

On top of that, Martina’s visa expires in April 2026. As a Latina migrant, she is not eligible for free integration courses and must pay for a German course herself to secure her stay in Germany and avoid deportation.

We have seen Martina’s incredible dedication to her recovery and the 12-step program. She’s one of the most committed people we know and always giving back through service and supporting others. We want to support her now, because she truly deserves stability, care, and a future here.

We’re collecting donations to help cover her healthcare, therapy, German course, and basic needs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will directly go to Martina and help her continue her recovery journey and build a safe, stable life.
