Tyler's AMDA Fund

Hello, my name is Tyler Johnson. I'm 18 years old and I live in the small town of Kannapolis, NC. And I just graduated from A.L Brown High School (GO WONDERS!). I am a young man with a dream and a passion. And it's acting! I started acting four years ago as a freshman in High School and have been in numerous performances and shows since then and I fell in love with the art of it all. And I feel that it is my purpose and what I truly believe I was born and created to do. So much so that it's all that I talk about and daydream about. When I'm on stage, I am truly at my happiest and most energetic (notice the face in my campaign photo) and no problem in the world matters when I'm in the moment. In the future I see myself as a humble actor who is and will be grateful for the opportunities it provides by doing what I love and most importantly giving back to others as they've given unto me. While on a school Theatre field trip to New York City we attended a workshop with Professional actress and teacher at AMDA NYC (American Musical & Dramatic Academy) Chryssie Whitehead, who recommended I attend this Academy and their summer program. This is where I truly need and desire your earnest support. I have received a partial scholarship to AMDA's Summer Conservatory Program in the amount of $1250.00 out of a total cost of $ 2,400.00. The program is from July 3rd to July 16th 2016. I am in need of $1,735.00 to complete the cost for AMDA: $1150.00 and $485.00 will be used to cover round trip airfare from Charlotte NC to Los Angeles. Please know that I only need donations to assist with the cost of the flight and the remaining portion of the program. A meal plan and housing are both included.  I am in need of this mostly due to the fact that at the end of the conservatory program I will be eligible to audition for Admission to the Academy as a student. This could be biggest opportunity I can receive since I started acting. I will be needing funds by July 1st to complete the program cost and I have secured the $250.00 for the program deposit from family and friends. Being able to receive the opportunity go to Los Angeles for this would not only be the experience of a lifetime but more importantly it will allow me to be just one step closer to achieving my dream goal and passion. If I don’t go I’ll never know what chance I could’ve had. I love acting; everything about it and I want you to know that I will make the VERY best of this opportunity if it is granted to me. I am hoping that one day I will be able to show my gratitude and thankfulness for the help that your donations to my Go Fund Me Campaign provided by helping me achieve my dream.
