Caleb's Funeral And Other Expenses

My name is Nita Weber and we are raising money for the support of Caleb Harris. This sweet boy was born on December 22,2009 with a congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome. This is a very rare heart defect that affects 1% of births. On January 5,2010 after having a heart catheter performed the doctors discovered Caleb had something wrong with his coronary arteries. Caleb then received a new diagnosis, Pulmonary Atresia Intact Ventricular Septum, Severe Tricuspid Stenosis, ASD, and Hypoplastic Right Ventricle. This too was even more rare. The family was told early on that Caleb would eventually need a heart transplant.  Caleb had his first open heart surgery on March 16,2010. He spent the first four months of his life in the hospital and he was released on April 19,2010.  Their journey up until this point has not been easy but Caleb is a fighter. Some even call him a superhero. Caleb's mom Kim is one of my closest friends and I love them very much. 
Caleb received a heart transplant on June 18, 2016. His road to recovery is still very long. Caleb's mom Kim will need to stay home with him for the first year after his transplant. She has taken a leave of absence from her job but she still will have her monthly bills. I am starting this gofundme account because the only thing Kim should have to worry about is her sons recovery. Any donations will be incredibly helpful and appreciated. The money will go towards Caleb's care,  his mom's monthly bills, and travel to and from the hospital. They live 1 1/2 hours away from the hospital and Caleb will have to visit the hospital every week. Caleb should be discharged in a couple weeks. Please keep this family in your prayers.
