I can’t say enough about the Texas A&M Small Animal Clinic…. It’s been the most stressful 24 hours of my life, second to my dad. Steve was hit by a car last night and shattered both his rear legs. Daniel and I drove him an hour to New Orleans last night, then drove him straight to College Station in 4.5 hours today. As soon as we walked in the door, a team was waiting on him that consisted of the resident vets, students, and orthopedic surgeons. The outlook is very good, as of now, compared to what his X-rays were showing. It’s going to be a very long and expensive road to recovery, but I think our amigo is gonna chase a tennis ball, fish tournaments, and guide customers again someday. Prayers, please. This fund is for the medical bills adding up quickly. Steve will undergo one or more surgeries to repair the damage to his hip & hind legs.
