"Cannot catch a break"

Donation protected
As some of you may know my brother Todd in CO never seems to "catch a break."

Todd has lived with diabetes since he was 10. Being so young to have this has and of course continues to be troublesome. Todd has been in and out of hospitals more times then anyone would care to admit. I'm actually surprised he's not a Dr. or at least nurse by now. The list is long, lost a lung, operations on his right foot for years now, I really cannot remember what Todd has all gone through in the hospitals but I do know when we were kids hospitals were a way of life for us as a family growing up. He was in Rochester for weeks at a time, a couple times.

Todd's attitude and spirits are always high.

Todd's right foot started giving him problems awhile ago. Operations on that foot as well, it has slowly been healing although he needs to wear a special boot for it each day.
Now as of late it's his left foot that is bad and he has had operations on that as well.

He was leaving the hospital in Durango heading home from a surgery on his left foot, (pins were put in place to hold it to heal) when a car with kids swerved into Todd's lane and he had a head on collision. Right back to the hospital he went. The crash had fractured his sternum as well as damaged his left foot again.

My Dad and I went to Durango for a couple of days to see him and of course Todd was in good spirits once again. Everything seemed to be going well with healing or so we all thought...

His left foot caught an infection a couple days ago...

Yesterday morning Todd had his left foot amputated.......

His spirits?
Up.
Thinking this may be a good thing for him now that he does not have the issue with the pain and healing of that foot...

Todd has always worked, has had a career for the last 30 some years at 3 HD Dealers. A rep for HD had talked with a new dealer in CO The rep had said you need to talk to this guy and get him hired. They did.

That was maybe 15 years ago. With issues in his life he had to leave there a year ago so he has not been employed for some time. Bekkie, Todd's wife, is working so that helps of course. Todd did start a Estate Sale Company that was headed in the right direction until the last bout with his health.

I have started a fund raiser so to speak to help them both out through GoFundMe. Easy website to donate too. Of course the bills they have are piling up.

Todd I'm sure will not be happy about this but he will need to get over it. He is not the type to ask anyone for anything, always a worker.

So if you can spare some $$$ to donate it would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way for them.

Just so you know I had to put a goal down which there really isn't one but I had to fill it out, so the $100,000.00
I put down is just humor. Fits right in with Todd's humor.

Thank You
