In order to honor the legacy of our loved one, Rebecca Gartrell, this fund is being set up to help raise donations towards the memorial tree, bench and marker. They will be placed at one of her favorite running spots in San Antonio, McAllister Park. It will be located near the trail head/dog park area and will help beautify the park.

Ultra runner, Rebecca Gartrell, was 265 miles into a 870 mile run across the state of Texas when she was killed by a hit and run driver. 

This is being established to supplement reward money for anyone who may come forward with information leading to the identification of the hit and run driver.  Funds may be used towards a reward, the investigation, and awareness communications.  Any remaining proceeds will be donated to Texas Suicide Prevention and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Thank you for your support as we help to find justice for Rebecca.
