Mark Ceries Cancer Fund EMG cd/dvd

My friend and former EMG bandmate, Mark Ceries has been diagnosed with throat cancer and  is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Mark has been battling other profound medical issues.  In order to begin treatment, it was necessary to extract all his teeth. Unable to work and living on disability, Mark needs our help.  This fund will go towards his out of pocket medical expenses as well as fitting him with dentures (post treatment).

In order to help meet these expenses, we are releasing the "lost" EMG album along with a companion dvd (footage courtesy Dave Prewitt).  You may donate any amount or choose from different cd and cd/dvd packages.  The packages will  be delivered once the manufacturing is complete, hopefully sometime in Sept.

Please help Mark battle cancer and maintain his quality of life.  He is optimistic and battling  his disease courageously.  The Austin creative community is his only family.

About EMG:  EMG were a hardcore thrash/noise band.  In 1984 they began  in Carbondale Il,  two years later they moved to Austin Texas. In 1990 they entered Arlyn Studios with Brian Beattie to record a full length lp. After playing hundreds of shows, the band broke up in 1991 and the album was never released.
