Let's get Heidy home ♡

I will start this off by saying that Joshua has no idea we are doing this. He has a very difficult time asking for help. He works hard and helps others when he can and this is our chance to help him. As most of you know his wife, Heidy, is still in Peru. They have been working on her Visa process for years. There is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately as the end of the process is drawing near the final expenses (processing fees, physicals, airfare to Lima for interview, weeks worth of expenses while she is in Lima, etc) are piling up. This is even more stressful since our Governor cut funding to higher education and in so Joshua lost his teaching job for the summer. He was planning on borrowing the money and paying it back when he got back to teaching this fall. His family and I got to chatting and realized the last thing Josh and Heidy need when starting their new life together here is a ton of extra debt. Heidy will be away from her family for the first time and most likely having major culture shock and the last thing I want them to worry about is groceries or rent. We know Josh will get on his feet this fall once he is back to teaching and we don't want them to postpone Heidy's arrival because of Brownback!!! Think of it as being a part of a wonderful love story. I cant imagine being away from my spouse all these years and being so close to being together only to have the rug pulled out from under your feet. Even after losing his summer teaching, Joshua continues to send money to Heidy and her family while going without for himself. For the cost of a dinner out we can pitch in and ease his financial burden. Let's get Heidy home and who knows maybe they will have a lil extra for a nice dinner out. Thanks in advance for your help. We will pay it forward. ♡♡♡
