Monika needs our love and support, please read.

Our precious friend Monica Long needs our help! Being her beautiful self she asks for only prayers, but those of us who know and love her want to provide the opportunity for those us who are able to, to be able to hopefully alleviate some of the fears/mountains she’s going to face while she recovers from some brutal injuries sustained on what was intended to be an epic snow weekend with incredible people (epic until accident and people were heroes and so wonderful!) in La Porte Ca, and sadly turned into a tragic accident and Monika’s being life flighted to Enloe Medical Center in Chico. Words cannot describe how horrifying and traumatic this experience was with no reception and help so far away, but she was so brave and courageous! However, her injuries are substantial and she will have a lot of healing, both emotionally and physically ahead of her. She’s got internal injuries and several broken bones requiring surgery and several days in ICU.  Monica’s an amazing single Mom to her 10 year old daughter and this is a lot to carry. Whether prayers, financial donation, love, or any other support, I know that Monika will appreciate the love she’s going to receive at this difficult harrowing time. But she’s got us and we can show up for her in all the ways we’re able, and shower her with love and hold her hand through this. 

***Please note- no one was at fault, the driver needs our prayers also as he’s injured and devastated. Were in close contact to support each other and feeling the outpouring of love from our new found friends who truly saved the day and knew what to do in the face of an emergency.
