I have the unfortunate task of informing friends and classmates that Gary Dale Taylor needs our assistance. Sadly, Gary has lost a leg due to a combination of numerous surgeries and an infection that proved to be too much.
Gary recently underwent a 50th (!!!) surgery on a knee that he first injured back in his college days. Even after a knee replacement some years ago, Gary still needed additional surgeries. But the law of averages finally took its toll as an infection set in and doctors had no choice but to remove his leg above the knee to halt the infection and save Gary’s life in the process.
Just as so many responded to the needs of Wayne Scroggins, I’m hoping that you can find it in your heart to help Gary Taylor with some financial assistance. Any amount you might contribute will be greatly appreciated. Gary is without medical insurance and as many of us can attest, hospital costs are not insignificant.
Gary is the last person to ask for help but that certainly doesn’t mean he doesn’t need a helping hand. Gary is facing this situation with the proverbial stiff upper lip, maintaining a positive attitude. But the love and support of his friends and classmates will be a strong medicine in helping Gary’s recovery.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your time and consideration.
