Our friends Matthew, Laurel, Mallie, and Halle were in a head on wreck on 53 leaving Rome headed to Calhoun. they were hit by a drunk driver in the wrong lane at high speeds. The truck caught on fire and Laurel was trapped and the Police cut the seat belt to get her out. they were all admitted into the hospital at midnight Saturday night. They all had serious injuries. Laurel had to have surgery on her Vertebrae on Sunday. Halle had to have surgery on her Pelvis. Matthew has a broken Back,Ribs, and Foot. Mallie sprained both ankles, broke bones in his face, and a punctured kidney. they all had more minor injuries. the Medical bills for the hospital rooms and the surgeries are going to be very expensive and anything will help.
