The Galesburg Meat Company building had a fire and it  is a total loss.  It appears the insurance won't cover all the losses.    Galesburg Meat Company, and the Christian Family,  have been in business in our community for over 65 years, and has a long standing record of helping the communty.   Galesburg Businesses are  asking for donations to help them rebuild,  and to  defray costs not covered by insurance.   Galesburg is a community that really pulls together when there is a tragedy, and now we can help a family/business who has always been there for the commmunity.  We will be forever grateful for your donation.  This money will be fully accessed only by the family and will not be distributed by any other business or organization to ensure that your donation goes directly to the Christian Family.
