Hi everyone. My mother Gabriela Felix was recently diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. She originally had went to the hospital with abdominal pain where they had told her she had endometriosis. The doctor still ordered a biopsy just in case to rule everything out. About a week and a half ago my mom was referred to a cancer institute where they told her she had uterine cancer. The doctors told her she needed to have surgery immediately as the cancer had began to spread. Her next appointment is next week and we hope to have a surgery date by then.
My mother is a single mother of 4. She worked 80+ hours a week. She has been putting me through college these last two years on her own and everything she does is to better her children’s lives. This surgery is going to cost thousands in addition to the hospital stay expenses. She will not be able to work for the next 6-8 weeks after the surgery. Creating a bigger stressor to make ends meet as she’s recovering.
Anything is greatly appreciated, this will help cover part of the surgery, hospital expenses and alleviate some of the stress from bills piling up. My mom is one of the most hardworking people and it has been extremely hard for my entire family. This has caused and additional stressor and anything will help alleviate our financial concerns. Prayers are just as needed so if you can’t make a donation just keep my my mom and my family in your prayers.
