Local midwife Angela Kellock has touched many of our lives with her professionalism, strength and humility. I had a VBAC with her in 2013 and wished I could duplicate her for all women giving birth. She is a gifted midwife and was awarded Victorian midwife of the year 2013.

Recently, the Bairnsdale hospital have banned her from entering their facilities and supporting women during their birthing process, leaving her without an income to pay monthly business expenses. While the East Gippsland Birthing Support Group and the Victorian Health Department are investigating this ban for a speedy resolution, Angela needs our help now to keep her private midwifery practice running. It would be such a shame for our community to loose such a talent.

If you can help with a donation small or large, Angela can continue to keep her doors open and consult with women pre and post baby. We are hoping soon, with all your support, women will again be able to choose to have Angela present at their Bairnsdale hospital birth also.
