Family and Friends,
I am sure by now that you’ve heard (and if not, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news) that our loved friend and co-worker, Jason Wynn, passed away on February 24th 2021. Jason was a beloved friend and co-worker and will be missed by so many, many people all across this country. We have already heard from so many of you expressing your love and to see if you can help out. I think the most important thing we can do is help Jason’s children.
Jason was a genuine people person, he cared, he loved, and most importantly he laughed. That giant smile and goofy laugh, god I will miss that every single day. You can tell by all the outreach we have had in the community from customers, business associates, former bosses and even competitors. This man was valued and appreciated in the industry. For me personally Jason owned the very first store I went to when I was 16 in Portland, bursting with acne and no knowledge and just trying to learn more and stake my foothold. His store was professional and displayed so nicely, a personal pride of his I know carried on 18 years later when I hired him at his last place of employment at Portland Hydro. In between the beginning and now, his knowledge helped hundred’s if not thousands of people to be successful. He never expected anything from this. He was selfless and thoughtless about helping another human being and we will forever appreciate him for that.
Jason poured his mind, body and soul into the industry for over two decades. But first and foremost were always his children. He never let work get in the way of spending as much time as he could with his beautiful children. When I hired him, this was the very first stipulation he ever made, and coming from small business, I couldn’t agree more. I cannot even fathom the correct words to display how much I empathize for his children, but I know we as a community can do our part and help as much as possible. Friends, family, business associates etc. We lost a great brother so please do what you can. Jason loved each and every one of you as much as we loved him.
So lets come together, as family, as friends and loved ones to show our generosity and respect for this individual that will never be forgotten. We love you Jason!
