Art and children are my passion and my cause.
Hi! My name is Brenna and I am 14 years old. I have always been fortunate enough to have art in my life and supplies to create with, but I know there are kids out there who are less fortunate. I have created these art kits, called “K.I.K Art Kits.” K.I.K stands for Kre8tivity is Key, because I think being creative can shape a child’s future. As well as art supplies, the kits contain a booklet of my artwork to help inspire and show kids what they can do with the supplies. It also contains inspirational quotes to encourage them to be creative.
There are lots of underprivileged kids in need and I have many goals to help inspire them. My first goal is to help foster kids. They are sometimes taken from their unsafe homes in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes on their back. I am working with a foster care resource center that provides essentials to the children in the foster system such as clothing and shoes. They are excited to distribute my kits, as am I.
Each kit costs $20 to produce. It contains a sketch pad, colored pencils, a glue stick, crayons, modeling clay, stamp pad, markers, watercolor and acrylic paints, a sharpener, scissors, pencil, sharpie, origami paper, paint brush and a mini canvas on an easel. Please help me bring creativity and purpose into some children’s lives by donating to my cause. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me… no amount is too small.
