We are desperately appealing for help.... I am a single mom of two and Pilot is an integral part of our family.

My  brother and I went for a hike in Golden Ears Park with our dogs on Father's Day (June 19). We were hiking up past Lower Falls when our beloved Pilot slipped and was swept away in a strong current. Pilot has not been seen since in spite of exhausting efforts by so many.

Pilot is a 100lb pure bred yellow lab with a stocky build and a square head.  He is a handsome boy and a very confident strong swimmer.  We believe in our hearts he made it out of the water and is now lost on the mountain side.  Fortunately the location funnels down to a very busy campground in Golden Ears Park where park staff are assisting in every way they can.  Our family is broken and we are so full of gratitude for everything being done to help us search for him.  He is a loving friendly boy.  We are heartbroken hoping for any news of a sighting.

We are setting up this gofundme page to raise funds to enlist the services of Petsearchers Canada.  They have had great success with blood hounds tracking and locating lost dogs in remote areas and time is of the essence.  We are terribly worried that Pilot may have got himself out of the river and is injured somewhere.  I am a single mom of two and this service is outside of my financial capabilities.  Please help us if you are able to in any way.  We are so full of gratitude.  Tears and prayers for Pilot.
