Running for My Dad !!
My dad, Mr. Robert Greenhough, was a teacher at Bramhall High School and sadly passed away after a brave battle with cancer.
When he passed, I took up running to help me cope with the stress and to clear my head. This year, with a newborn and a three-year-old, I haven’t managed to do much running (no excuses, my fault!).
But this Sunday, I’m taking on a half marathon — for my dad.
I thought, what better motivation to get through it than to raise some money in his memory and say a huge thank you to everyone at East Cheshire Hospice for the incredible care and compassion they showed my dad at the end of his life.
They do such amazing work, helping so many families through the hardest times — and I’d love to raise some funds to help them continue that.
It’s all a bit last-minute (typical me — deciding a week before that I should probably start training… and then getting man flu!), but I’ll get it done.
So please, if you can, donate whatever you can to support this brilliant cause — and help me run this one for my dad, the best ever dad, who I miss every single day. ❤️
Thank you all so much — and I’ll be celebrating with a few beers in Manchester after!
