Autumn Shotridge was involved in a car accident in Juneau, AK; Tuesday morning, June 21st. She was flown commercially the next morning to the Alaskan Native Medical Center in Anchorage with a broken ankle and multiple fractures in her foot.  She was in anchorage for a little over 3 weeks  waiting for the swelling to minimize to avoid damaging soft tissue in her foot. She eventually had surgery on July 8th and was in the hospital for 5 days after. Most of you who know Autumn, know she is a full time hard working single parent of a beautiful and smart 2 (almost 3 on July 30th!!) year old little girl. Autumn had to leave Aria in Juneau while in Anchorage. She is currently with her grandparents in Washington. Autumn has been out of work for 4 weeks which has set her back a great deal financially. She thanks everyone who has been so supportive, understanding during this time.

Message from autumn: You don't realize how precious life is until something so traumatic happens. I am grateful to be alive. I am also extremely grateful for my friends and family in Juneau who took care of Aria while I was away. And a big thanks to my family and Stuarts family in anchorage for everything they offered! I love you all!
