Hello beautiful people,
As you are all aware - Louie is not home, and is still in the hands of the people who purchased him from Gumtree 4 weeks ago after he was stolen from me. In light of their lack of cooperation and the advice of this community, we have decided to go ahead with setting up a GoFundMe account. I have been hesitant to accept your financial help (pride is a tough gig), but everyone's enormous kindness and support on this journey so far can and will bring my little man home! Any funds donated will go towards legal fees and/or compensation to the buyer, and anything leftover/covered will go directly to D2DR to help other dashies in need of saving. Once this crazy saga is over, I know we can work towards ensuring this doesn't happen to someone else.
Please don't feel compelled to donate, I have no expectations, but any and every cent will be hugely appreciated. Above all else, your words and abundant love for dachshunds have carried my hope and energy levels this far. I couldn't be more grateful to you incredible bunch of humans.
