In late February, our beloved uncle/brother/dad/husband/friend began displaying some troubling memory issues. After a week of extensive tests that seemed like forever, on March 2nd Kevin was diagnosed with Glioblastoma - a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. The same type of cancer that John McCain had. We are starting this gofundme to give Kevin every chance we can to fight.
Kevin is the rare sort of person who truly makes every day brighter for those he encounters. His quick smile and cheerful demeanor are impossible to resist. He’s from a forgotten era where he still holds the door open for people and stops to pick up trash that isn’t his. He’s quick with a genuine compliment and a joke and always knows the right thing to say to make your day a little better. Simply put, Kevin is the gold standard - the Tom Hanks and George Bailey in a world too rushed to help anymore.
