Friends & Family both near and far,

I write to you on behalf of so many people who love Matt, Nicole, Alec and Braden. Yesterday was a normal Tuesday for them - running errands in the morning to get the things they "have to do" on their one day off a week, so they can enjoy the rest of the day together on Lake Lanier. Matt, Alec, and Nicole were enjoying a beautiful day out on the boat (Matt's baby) and went back to their house to get a tube to continue the fun and when they came back to their home, they were utterly shocked.

They arrived at their house to find it billowing to the skies with thick black smoke. Everything all four of them owned was in the house and it is now completely demolished. They will have to start over from square one and I am writing to all of you for some love and support. Luckily, no one was injured and their belongings are replaceable. They did not have renters insurance so all expenses will have to be paid out of pocket.

As many of you know or witnessed, Matt and Nicole just celebrated their marriage on May 7th. They are in the process of closing on a home but will need to fill the new house with everything new. 

I speak for myself and a few others, (Kevin Darden, Marisa Moley, Alec and Braden Healy) on how Matt and Nicole opened their home to us. I moved down here in November of 2014 on a whim to make a living and a new life for myself. They took me under their wing, put a roof over my head, and did whatever they could to help me make any adjustments into a new lifestyle. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for me and I know that everyone else can say the same. 

Alec and Braden are Nicole's cousins on her Mom's side of the family. Alec moved down here in January and started working with us, and living with Matt and Nicole. Shortly after, Braden took the same leap of faith and moved in as well. Both of them work and live with Matt and Nicole and are as equally grateful for the opportunity they have given many of us. 

They will be using any donations toward starting their lives back up. Everyone here in Georgia has been more than loving and giving, everyone has offered whatever they can to help them. They are still figuring out where they will be living temporarily and that will probably be with friends near work. 

This will mean the world to Alec, Braden, Matt and Nicole! Any donation of any amount will help. Please let me know if anyone has anything they would like to donate that is not monetary as well. You can contact me directly.

They are so gracious for everyone's love and support, but a little extra money will go a long way for them in this extremely stressful situation.
