My name is John Behe. I have been in many phases of the automotive industry for over forty years and in business since 1979. My many friends and customers will know me as Behe Performance where I have been supporting performance and race oriented individuals and businesses with service, engine tuning, and consulting. Together with my son Colin Behe, we have worked hard and have enjoyed many successes over the years.
In June of 2015 we merged our company in At Speed Motorsports(ASM) in Hanover, Md. The intent was to help make ASM profitable with the addition of Behe Performance added capabilities and customers. I was 100% commited to this and worked very hard over the last year to get the new entity, ASM Performance on the map and profitable. Many people attended our weekend tech sessions and open houses throughout the year.
On June 3rd we were told that there was a problem with the loan ASM used to purchase the condo and that Morgan(ASMs owner) was selling the property and closing the business at the end of June. I am now in a position of having to relocate the shop to a nearby facility with the intent of taking care of all the customers that have spent money while developing a trusted relationship only to be abandoned.
Please help us buy donating whatever you can afford as our financial postion has been severely weakened by this sudden event. The money will be used to help aquire a new facility, rent/security deposists, insurance, utilities, and other administrative costs. We have located a possible location very close to here at 4701 Belle Grove Rd, Brooklyn, Md and if we can get the neccessary funding we could move in as soon as July 1.
With this funding, Colin and I will be able to continue working hard for our customers by always putting our customers best interest first. Without it, there really is no way forward.
