Lift for wheelchair for mobility
Donation protected
Richard, my husband is a retired police sergeant and has Muscular Dystrophy. This has resulted in him being confined to a wheelchair. We need to upgrade to a chair with a seat that lifts up to reach the even a cup in the cabinet, the sink, the stove (so he can continue to be self-sufficient and cook) and into the pantry to get food stuffs.
Medicare will pay for the power chair but not for the lift mechanism. The neurologist and therapists say it is a necessity but Medicare says it is no longer considered a necessary item. This would daily place a SMILE on his face and in his heart to be able to continue to do normal daily activities. Thank you for prayers and contributions. God Bless you.
