My name is Aaron Ratigan. I have been elected by the people of Nebraska to serve as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention pledged to Bernie Sanders!

I'm asking for your help funding my trip to the convention in Philadelphia.

I was the first person in the state to host a volunteer meet-up (in the back of a pizza joint on O St!), and since then I've worked tirelessly to build our political revolution! 

With five friends, I helped to found Huskers for Social Democracy, an issue-based student group advocating for our revolution's principles. Outside this group, I helped organize Bernie supporters on campus. We were so successful in our outreach that the only viable candidate at the on-campus caucus was Bernie Sanders!

I was elected with the promise to do everything in my power to focus the Democratic Party in the next four years on abandoning donor-domination for people power! We must find better ways to run electoral campaigns that are less expensive, funded more broadly, and most importantly, driven by a wide, permanent volunteer base.

I will fight for a place for our revolution, not at the fringes, but at the heart of the Democratic Party.


In order to do this, I need to attend the convention. Hotel rooms are $500/night. Travel will also be hundreds of dollars. I'm a student, in student debt, with a student's summer internship. I cannot afford this alone. I need you.
